A married dad of two who found himself asked to MC weddings for friends all over the world — and never really stopped. Somewhere along the way, "The Wordsmith" stuck.

My journey to becoming a marriage celebrant has been anything but conventional. I started out in hospitality — sushi chef, managing cafes and restaurants, even a stint as a flight attendant for Emirates. Those years taught me a natural flair for connecting with people, something I still lean on in every ceremony I write.
From there I moved into training and assessing, instructing Management along with Safety & Emergency Procedures for Emirates, before ending up in coal and mining — exploration drilling, managing gyms and kickboxing studios, even construction. Every one of those roles taught me something about teamwork, leadership, and adaptability that shows up in how I run a wedding day.
Outside of work, my greatest source of pride is my family. I'm a devoted husband and father to two incredible boys, and my wife Tash is my best mate and constant support — the heart of our busy household. Whether I'm crafting a ceremony or spending time with my own, I bring the same passion, dedication, and sense of humour to both.
